WORKSHOP ACTIVITY 1: PAPER PROTOTYPING (crazy eights)

My favourite and main idea I took from this was a folding box design, where different pages of the website fold out like origami.

WORKSHOP ACTIVITY 2: MAKE IT BLING

I took my box idea, and made it into a paper prototype. The homepage is supposed to be the front of the box, and when you click on the Homepage button, the next page unfolds out in an unfolded box design. With each link you click on, a different design of a box folded in a different way will display the information and images.

LOOK! Exploring JODI.org Webpage designs

Contains words that link to other pages containing different words and colours. When you click on a word it returns to the previous page.

When you click on an image it takes you to a page that expands the image so when you scroll the image extends itself.

When you click on the text it changes the words, symbols and length.

When I first used this website, it took me a while to figure out how to access the homepage, and it was confusing to navigate as it was more interactive than a typical online shopping website. My favourite part of the website is the hanging clothes and how they move around the page.

Rouserlab

I liked the bubble effect they added to this website, as the bubble follows you as you scroll down the page it gives the page a sense of continuity and playfulness. It is fun to try to get the bubble to burst at the end of the page.
